Focus and Scope

The Sri Lanka Journal of Social Sciences is published twice a year, in June and December, by the National Science Foundation of Sri Lanka. The journal publishes articles in Sinhala, Tamil and English languages, covering the entire range of social sciences focusing on Sri Lanka and/or other South Asian countries.

All articles published in the journal are deposited with Crossref

Publication Frequency

The journal publishes two issues per annum.


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.


Archiving Policy

This journal is available for LOCKSS harvesting, to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. See LOCKSS harvesting start page.
